The Denver steak comes from the serratus ventralis muscle that sits under the shoulder blade of the steer and is actually the fourth most tender cut of beef. This tenderness paired with a deep beef flavor with notes of brown butter make this cut a go to for world class chefs across the globe. With all these accolades you will still be hard pressed to find this cut at your standard meat counter. It takes high level butcher skills to get these beauties cut properly, so a lot of the time they end up as ground chuck…so sad.

I enjoy the thickness and size for broiling. Great marbling and generally consistent quality. Nice when we want meat but do not want to spend a ton of money on dinner that night. Will order again.

VERY FRIENDLY! I have ordered 2 large orders of the Wagyu Denver Steaks, for a company celebration from RC Ranch. Steaks were kept frozen and were always ready when I needed to pick them. I was fortunate to meet many of the family members from this ranch. Although, I have been grilling and smoking meat for years, I was not familiar with Wagyu meat. They explained in detail about Wagyu and what the best way to cook it and cut it. In addition, their seasonings are excellent. I even received a video of the owner thanking us for our order. I highly recommend them!
